Within the Day One app, locate your journals on the left side panel. If your journals are not visible, navigate to the top menu bar and select View > Show Journals (or use the shortcut by pressing option + command + j to show your journals.)
Right click on the journal you would like to export and select Export > JSON
When the export dialogue pops up, click export.
All of the entries within the selected journal will export and download to your computer as a zipped file with the JSON file inside of it. The JSON file contains the data of all of your journal entries. Click here to move to the section on how to import your journals into Wondr Journal.
Within the Day One app, locate the list of journal entries. If your journal entries are not visible, navigate to the top menu bar and select the list icon (orange square).
Select the journal entries you wish to export. You can select one single entry or multiple entries. To select one, click on a single entry (this will highlight the entry). To select multiple, press and hold the command key and select the entries you wish to export (this will highlight the multiple entries you clicked).
When you have selected the entries you wish to export, right click on a highlighted entry and select Export > JSON.
When the export dialogue pops up, click export.
All of the entries within the selected journal will export and download to your computer as a zipped file folder with the JSON file inside of it. The JSON file contains the data of all of your journal entries. You are now ready to import your journal entries into Wondr Journal. See steps below on how to import your entries into Wondr Journal.
